Game Music

I've been thinking that maybe this game could take a few of the thinks that are common in our type of game and do things that are out of the box... like including techno music in a prodomiantly middle-aged type of game, void of technology. Let me know what you think. In the mean time here are a few artist from Newgrounds that I think are pretty kickass:

Does a very heavy industrial style techno. Very unique. "City of industry" in particular has a very intense style that might be cool for our game. "Vigilance is also worth taking a look at"

Actually you and I are pretty much on the same page haha i have been looking at mainly newgrounds as an influence because of all the amazing artists. I cant decide to go simple like the intro to Epic Battle Fantasy (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/226758) Which was done by HalcyonicFalconX or kind of quiet like Coin in Colour my world (http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/280843) or something more intense with strings and drums instead of piano. Idk what to do yet so im trying to figure out what tone the tinro should set

Right now i am focusing on the intro, so i think it would be different, but i think youre absolutely right about the confident driving beat that would be behind gameplay music, definietly for battle music if we intend on making the battles intense, our music has to match, so ill try working on encounter music and post a link.

As far as intro / title screen music I definitely want to go like a just a clean piano. Something simlar to the "Colour My World".

Alright that works out really well for me because i found an extremely well made piano plugin so itll sound awesome when it gets done

Considering the atmosphere of the game I picture in my mind, I really like the "Sons of War" one. The Dragon Rider one I feel is a little too "light hearted" in comparison, if that makes sense.

Intro is almost done i think, the only thing is dont know what to do to transition where you hear the piano fall to the low octave and i dont know how to end it so i really need input from you guys. Thanks heres the link

Also please ignore the file name "intro2" i named it that cuz i didnt like the original for the intro but most of it works for another subject so well see, and Riley i would like to thank you cuz all i have to do for your characters theme is listen to "The Good Life", strip it down then build it up again haha thats almost done too. Brandon if you could gimme some sort of theme you want for Flyntian and Andrew as well thatd be great. Also if you have a song that you think would fit a person or an area rather well, just post it and ill work with it.

Wow turned out another one rather fast. I was looking at diferent types of synthesizers, came across this one, and said "ooo perfect for like a cave or something" so here it is:

I tweaked the Intro a bit, moved it down an octave so its more pleasant to hear, added some stuff and took away some stuff but nothing major

I exported it in .wav format, maybe your media player doest allow that, but i could convert them to mp3 if thats easier

for flyntians intro the main theme is hatred. just pure hatred and vengance. after that if you gain him as a character then its more of a heroic/avenger theme, but for the initial theme just pure anger hatred and vengence. hes one ripped mofo XD

Alright i already started something like that. I intended it for the battle theme, but it didnt work out that way ill try to finish it soon and see if you like it
